The answer posted over there at #WP in the friends plugin was delivered over here to #mastodon. This is the first time this worked for me.That means that at least to a certain extent a #WP instalation with the plugins #activityPub, #nodeinfo, #webfinger, and #friends becomes a single user instance in the fediVerse (!?).
